Reliant owns and operates fully equipped SeaBotix VLBV300-6 Inspection Class ROV systems for projects where portability, access and rapid mobilization are important. Available capability includes high-resolution imaging sonar, compact scanning sonar, manipulator tooling, USBL positioning and Vortex crawler capability for compatible inspection missions. The VLBV300-6 is well suited to visual inspection, sonar operations, search and recovery support, vessel and structure inspection, subsea observation and other tasks where a compact vehicle provides an operational advantage.

Operational reach: practical operating depth depends on the installed tether configuration as well as the vehicle pressure rating. Reliant confirms the mobilized tether/reach for each project before quotation.
Imaging sonar, positioning & tooling
More than a camera platform.
Reliant owns fully equipped VLBV300-6 systems with sonar, positioning and tooling capability for inspection, navigation, target identification, search and intervention applications.
Reliant’s current VLBV300-6 nominal configuration is with Tritech Gemini 720 multibeam imaging sonar. The vehicle also accommodates Teledyne BlueView M900 imaging sonar and other compatible sonar packages, allowing the system to be configured to project-specific inspection, navigation and search requirements.
Reliant also maintains Tritech Micron scanning sonar capability for compact acoustic imaging and navigation applications. Manipulator capability and USBL positioning can be incorporated where required by the project scope.
Specific sonar, positioning, tooling and communication configurations are confirmed against water depth, tether configuration, required accuracy and project requirements.

Crawler, Sonar & Compact Payload Integration
Configured for the task, not limited to a fixed sensor package.
The VLBV300-6 can be configured with SeaBotix Vortex crawler capability for compatible vessel-hull and subsea-structure inspection tasks where vehicle attachment and controlled movement along a surface provide an operational advantage.
Reliant’s VLBV capability is not limited to a single sonar or tooling configuration. Where technically appropriate, systems can also be integrated with customer- or project-specified subsea instrumentation.
Reliant’s VLBV300-6 systems can be configured with compatible compact sonar, positioning, manipulator and specialty inspection equipment within the vehicle’s payload, power and hydrodynamic limits.
Reliant also has broader project experience integrating advanced subsea survey and navigation systems on other ROV and subsea platforms. That experience supports project planning and interface engineering, but larger systems such as high-resolution multibeam survey packages, survey-grade inertial navigation, pipe trackers and photogrammetry systems are generally better suited to larger vehicles or dedicated subsea platforms.
Payload, power, communications, hydrodynamics and vehicle handling are reviewed before committing a specialty sensor or tooling package to the VLBV300-6.
