Reliant owns and operates Open Frame Super SeaRover systems for offshore inspection, survey, intervention, marine construction support and specialty subsea operations. At approximately 540 lb in air, the SeaRover provides substantially greater stability and payload capability than a compact inspection vehicle while retaining a smaller operational footprint than many larger work-class systems.

Operational reach: the 1,500-fsw figure is the vehicle depth rating. Actual project reach depends on the installed umbilical/tether and mobilized system configuration and should be confirmed for the specific project.

Imaging, sonar & tooling

Configured around the task.

The documented SeaRover configuration includes a high-resolution color camera with three-axis control, a general-purpose color CCD camera, four 36 W LED lights, compass and depth sensing, and surface video overlay.

The documented vehicle configuration also includes an Imagenex 881A mechanically scanning sonar. Reliant also owns high-resolution multibeam imaging and survey sonar equipment, USBL positioning equipment and manipulators/tooling that can be selected for compatible project configurations.

Project-specific packages can also integrate survey-grade navigation and gyro systems, DVL/inertial navigation, sound-velocity instrumentation, pipe/cable trackers and other customer- or project-specified subsea sensors where technically appropriate.

Specific sensor, positioning and tooling combinations are confirmed against the required accuracy, water depth, vehicle interface and scope before quotation.

Surface system & mobilization

Dedicated control and launch-and-recovery package.

The SeaRover package includes dedicated surface-control and launch-and-recovery equipment. Reliant documentation identifies a 20 ft × 8 ft control/workshop van with separated operating and workshop spaces and a LARS approximately 14 ft × 6.5 ft with a documented 1,950-lb safe working load.
