ROV & SUBSEA SERVICES

ROV & Subsea Services

Company-owned ROV systems, sonar, subsea positioning, manipulators/tooling and experienced personnel configured for offshore inspection, survey, construction, intervention, search and specialty subsea operations.

Reliant Robotics ROV subsea inspection survey sonar and positioning operations

Operational approach

Equipment, sensors and personnel matched to the task.

Reliant Robotics supports commercial, offshore, scientific and specialty underwater operations using company-owned ROV systems and supporting equipment. Rather than applying the same vehicle and sensor package to every job, Reliant evaluates the task, depth, payload, tooling, deck space, vessel interface, survey requirements, schedule and required deliverables before configuring the system.

Review the scope

Water depth, task, location, schedule, vessel interface, survey accuracy and deliverables.

Select the vehicle

Inspection Class VLBV300-6 or Light Work Class ROV – Open Frame Super SeaRover according to mission requirements.

Configure the payload

Sonar, USBL, manipulators/tooling, survey/navigation sensors and other compatible project-specific equipment.

Mobilize the package

ROV system, surface equipment and experienced field personnel configured to the scope of work.

Company-owned capability

More than the ROV vehicle.

Reliant owns high-resolution imaging sonar systems, USBL positioning equipment, manipulators/tooling and other supporting subsea equipment in addition to its ROV systems.

Company-owned sonar equipment includes Teledyne BlueView M-series imaging sonar and Tritech Gemini 720 multibeam imaging sonar. Reliant also owns Hydro-Lek 5-function manipulator capability and supporting tooling that can be configured where compatible with the selected vehicle and project scope.

The exact equipment configuration is confirmed during quotation so the website does not imply that every legacy manufacturer option is physically present in Reliant inventory.

Mission-specific integration

Not limited to Reliant-owned equipment.

Reliant has extensive experience integrating customer- and project-specified survey and inspection instrumentation with ROV systems. This allows the vehicle and payload to be configured around the required deliverable rather than limiting the project to a fixed equipment inventory.

High-Resolution Multibeam

Integration experience includes high-resolution multibeam systems such as the Kongsberg M3 for detailed imaging, inspection, measurement and survey applications.

Survey-Grade Navigation

Integration experience includes survey-grade gyro/inertial navigation, DVL and acoustic-inertial systems such as Sonardyne SPRINT-Nav and OCTANS-class packages.

Pipeline & Cable Tracking

Project configurations have included pipe and cable tracking systems such as Innovatum and Teledyne TSS equipment.

Photogrammetry & 3D Measurement

Reliant has integrated subsea photogrammetry equipment such as SubSLAM for project-specific 3D measurement and documentation requirements.

Environmental & Survey Sensors

Sound-velocity and other oceanographic instrumentation can be integrated where required for sonar, survey or scientific operations.

Customer-Specified Payloads

Specialty cameras, inspection sensors, navigation systems and other subsea payloads can be evaluated for mechanical, electrical and data-interface compatibility.

Integration approach: payload weight, hydrodynamic drag, power, communications, data interfaces, vehicle handling and required survey accuracy are reviewed before a specialty package is committed to a project.
