Reliant Robotics’ project experience ranges from recurring commercial offshore work to technically unusual scientific, construction, search and specialty subsea assignments. Commercial Offshore Operations

ROV support for offshore structures, subsea infrastructure, inspection, marine construction, intervention, pipeline and flowline work, and other commercial scopes where dependable field operations and practical equipment configuration are required.

Marine Construction & Mud-Mat Installation

Reliant has supported offshore mud-mat installation operations using ROV observation, multiple sonar systems and real-time subsea monitoring to assist with controlled placement and verification during installation.

Scientific & Expedition Support

Reliant personnel have supported scientific and exploration expeditions, including NOAA-related Arctic operations aboard USCGC Healy and National Geographic expedition work. Historic Search & Discovery

Selected experience includes historic shipwreck search and discovery work associated with USS Grunion. Search projects can require sonar interpretation, target investigation, precise vehicle handling and integration of specialty imaging or survey equipment.

Complex Multi-Sensor ROV Configuration

Reliant has operated SeaRover configurations carrying multiple imaging sonars and manipulators simultaneously for project-specific inspection, construction and monitoring tasks. Vehicle configuration is developed around the mission rather than limited to a single fixed payload arrangement.

Specialty Exploration

Reliant’s project history also includes unconventional exploration work such as the Crusader/Loch Ness project and other assignments outside routine offshore inspection. These projects demonstrate the ability to adapt ROV systems, imaging and payloads to unusual objectives and operating environments.

Marine construction support

Subsea monitoring where placement matters.

Marine construction operations can require more than a visual camera view. Reliant can combine ROV observation with sonar, positioning and topside monitoring to give project personnel additional information during installation and placement activities.

During offshore mud-mat installation work, the ROV and associated sonar systems were used to observe and monitor subsea placement while installation activity progressed from the vessel. Multiple topside displays provided simultaneous ROV camera, navigation and sonar information to support the operation.

This type of configuration is particularly useful where visibility, geometry or installation tolerances make a single camera view insufficient for understanding the subsea worksite.

Survey, sonar & integration experience

Project equipment configured around the work.

Reliant’s broader project history includes integration and operation of sonar, positioning, navigation, tracking and measurement systems selected for the requirements of the individual project and the subsea platform carrying them.

High-Resolution Sonar

Experience includes high-resolution imaging and multibeam sonar for inspection, target identification, navigation, construction monitoring and survey-related applications.

Examples include Tritech Gemini, Teledyne BlueView, ARIS, Imagenex and Kongsberg M3-class systems.

Positioning & Navigation

Projects have incorporated USBL positioning and survey-grade navigation equipment where subsea position, heading or vehicle movement must be related to the project coordinate framework.

Experience includes USBL, SPRINT-Nav, OCTANS-class navigation and DVL/inertial systems.

Pipeline & Cable Tracking

Reliant has experience integrating specialty tracking equipment for projects requiring detection or verification of subsea pipe and cable location.

Experience includes Innovatum and Teledyne TSS pipe-tracking systems.

Environmental & Sound-Velocity Instrumentation

Sound-velocity and oceanographic instrumentation can be incorporated where acoustic performance, survey quality or environmental measurements form part of the project requirement.

Experience includes AML sound-velocity instrumentation and related project sensors.

Photogrammetry & 3D Measurement

Reliant has integrated subsea photogrammetry equipment where a project requires dimensional information, 3D modeling or detailed subsea documentation beyond conventional video alone.

Experience includes SubSLAM photogrammetry and specialty 3D measurement workflows.

Manipulator & Tooling Integration

Manipulator systems and specialty tools can be incorporated where the ROV mission extends beyond observation to physical interaction, intervention or construction support.

Capability ranges from compact VLBV manipulator functions to multi-function SeaRover tooling configurations.
